Vintage Green Wicker Swan Duck Basket with Handle Woven and Wood Animal Basket Zhejiang Handicrafts for Ben Rickert Inc
This wicker and wood swan basket is 8" long, 6" wide, and 6" high. It is a wicker and wood piece, and he body of the basket is woven with thin wicker bands. The basket is accented with wooden pieces for hte swans wings and bill. The swans face is nicely detaled with orange and black eye and a a red bill. There is a bent wood handle across the top. The basket is mostly green wth tan accents, and has 2 wooden bands along hte bottom that act as feet for the basket. There is also an original label on the bottom of the basket.
The basket is in nice condition but it is not perfect - there are 2 areas with breaks in the wicker (one on the underside and one on the inside of the neck), and the handle has a crack on one side - please see the last 3 photos closely as these 3 areas are shown in detail.
