Vintage Stoneware Soup Bowl Mug with Handle White with Brown Abstract Bird Design Mid Century Modern Otagiri Style
This cool retro ceramic soup bowl is 2.5" tall and 4.25" in diameter. With the handle is is 5.75" wide. This bowl is a white stoneware piece with brown flecking throughout the surface, and has a two tone brown bird design around the bowl. The pattern is on both sides of the bowl The bowl is accented with a band of brown glaze around the rim and down the handle. There are no makers marks on this piece.
The bowl is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however there is one production flaw on the bowl - there is a small split in the ceramic on the bottom of the bowl - this is about 1/2" long and does not do all of the way through the bowl. There is also a small paint chip on the brown wing on one of the birds.
