Vintage S.S. Sarna Brass Christmas Plate Wall Hanging Scene of Mary and Joseph Holiday Decor Made in India

This brass plate by S.S. Sarna is 8.25" in diameter and is the first in a series of Christmas plates that were made in the 1970s. The center plate has an etched scene of Mary and Joseph, and behind them are trees and a star. The rim of the plate has an etched holly leaf design, and says CHRISTMAS 1975. The etched areas of the plate are highlighted with green, red, and gray colored lines. The back of the plate has a brass hanger to hang the plate on a wall, and is marked: FIRST LIMITED EDITION / NO. 1219 / INDIA BY S.S. SARNA.
The plate is in nice condition, but the brass does show some light wear and some light tarnish. There are a few flaws in the brass on the surface of the plate. Great Sarna collectible Christmas plate!
