Vintage Mexican Tonala Spice Jar with Lid Small Canister Burnished Ceramic Pottery with Flower Leaf Design Made in Mexico Clay Folk Art
This great old Mexican Tonala jar is 3" in diameter and 6" tall with the lid (the jar iteself is 4" tall.) It is a clay piece and has a wonderful design of flowers and plants on the jar and the lid. The border is accented with gray and orange bands The painting is done in subtle and natural colors of gray, white, and a deep, rusty pinkish-red color. The bottom of the jar is stamped MEXICO.
The jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some slight nicks and scratches here and there.
