This serving bowl by Noritake is in the Providence pattern and is the 8" Round Vegetable Serving bowl. This pattern was only made for 2 years, from 1977 to 1979, and pieces in this pattern are quite hard to find. The bowl measures 8.5" in diameter and 2.25" high at the rim. It is a white stoneware piece, accented with a blue, green, and purple flower in the center. There is also a band of green around the rim. The back is marked: NORITAKE STONEWARE / OVEN SAFE DETERGENT SAFE / MICROWAVE OVEN SAFE / MADE IN JAPAN / 8572 / PROVIDENCE.
The bowl is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few light scratch marks on the bottom of the bowl from use.
