This great set of Franciscan salad plates are in the Madeira pattern. This set includes 4 salad plates. Each plate measures 8 1/2" in diameter, and 1" high. They are a dark brown stoneware, with a green band around the rim, and a rustic green scrolling floral and leaf design in the center of the plate. The backs are marked: FRANCISCAN.

All 4 plates are in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. There are some light surface scratches from use. These plates are a thick, heavy ceramic, weighing over 1 pound each.
