Vintage Franciscan MADEIRA Service for 4 Set of 24 Brown Stoneware with Green Floral and Leaf Design Mid Century Plates Bowls Cups Saucers
This great set of Franciscan dinnerware is in the Madeira pattern - I just love this pattern! This great pattern features a dark brown stoneware, with a green band around the rim, and a rustic green scrolling floral and leaf design in the center of the plate. The backs are marked: FRANCISCAN. This set includes 24 pieces and includes a full service for 4. Included are:
4 Dinner Plates - 10 1/2" in diameter, and 1" high
4 Salad Plates: 8 1/2" in diameter
4 Bread and Butter Plates: 6 1/2" in diameter
4 Soup/Cereal Bowls: 7" in diameter, 2" high
4 Cups: 3" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall
4 Saucers: 5 1/2" in diameter
All pieces are in very good condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks. There are some light scratches on the surface of the plates and bowls from use. These dishes are a thick, heavy ceramic - each plate weighs almost 2 pounds each. This set weighs over 22 pounds alone with no packing material. It will be sent in 2 boxes to split the weight and better protect the pieces.
