This is a gorgeous old postcard from 1919 that has been framed in a accompanying picture frame to create a unique and one of a kind piece of winter and holiday décor! This postcard is a scene of 2 blue birds on a holly branch, accented with red berries. The postcard reads NEW YEAR GREETING at the top in gold lettering. The bottom has a phrase that reads: "These little birds that pipe their lay upon this sprig of holly, will tell you that I am wishing you a New Year bright and jolly."
The frame measures 7.75" tall by 9.75" wide. This traditional dark wood frame is accented with a small and simple ribbed design around the inside edge of the frame. The postcard is secured by clear corner mounts and mounded on acid-free cardstock, and protected under the glass. This frame is in good condition, but as being a vintage piece it is not perfect - there are some small nicks and light scratches.
