Vintage Pottery Canister Cookie Jar with Lid White Stoneware with Gray and Green Branch and Leaf Design Handmade Studio Pottery
This stoneware canister or cookie jar 9.5" tall with the lid and 6.75" in diameter. It is a tan stoneware piece with a white glaze, and is decorated with a green and gray branch and leaf design around the canister. The lid has a round knob style handle for lifting. The bottom is signed by the artist but I'm unable to make out the signature.
The canister is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are lighter and darker areas in the glaze, and the tan ceramic shows through the glaze in some areas. The canister lid does not have plastic or rubber seal - the lid just rests on the canister.
