Vintage Otagiri SIERRA Round Stoneware Casserole Dish with Lid Gray with Brown Band Stripe
This wonderful Otagiri casserole dish in the Sierra pattern includes the casserole dish and lid. This stoneware dish is 3" tall at the rim (4" tall with the lid on) and 7.5" in diameter at the base. The inner diameter of the casserole dish is 5.5". I believe this is the 1.25 quart casserole dish made in this pattern. This piece is a grey stoneware with small brown flecks and brown bands around the base and lid. There are small handles on each side of the dish. The lid has one hole in it for venting. This dish is a thick, heavy stoneware weighs almost 4 pounds itself.
This piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
