Vintage Red Wing Saffron Ware Cookie Jar Canister with Lid Yellow with White and Red Stripe Bands

This canister or cookie jar by Red Wing is 8" tall and 7.5" in diameter at the widest point. The base is 6.5" in diameter. It is a yellow stoneware piece with thin white and red bands around the middle of the canister. There is a lid with a small knob on the top. The bottom of the piece is marked: RED WING SAFFRON WARE.
The canister is in nice condition, but it is not perfect. There are 2 chips in the lid - one on the top surface and one underneath. There are some nicks in the base of the canister. The bottom 1/3 of the canister does have staining and discoloration around the piece - this varies in severity around the base of the canister.
