This stoneware canister with lid is 9.5" tall (10" with the lid on) and 7" in diameter. It is a thick and heavy stoneware piece and is coated with a black glaze. There is an unglazes band around the rim. The crock has a lid with a round knob handle. The crock has no makers marks.
The piece is in nice condition, but it is not perfect. The lid has multiple large chips on the underside - this is shown in the last photo. The crock itself is in good condition with no chips or cracks, there are a couple of small nicks along the bottom edge of the base.
