This lovely chop plate by Sears & Roebuck is in the Plum Blossom Pattern. It is a light gray stoneware with brown flecking, and has a hand painted brown and blue leaf, flower, and berry design. The back is marked with the SR sears Roebuck logo, and reads: PLUM BLOSSOM / FREEZER TO OVEN / STONEWARE / MADE IN JAPAN / DISHWASHER SAFE / HAND DECORATED / 4117. This is a heavy stoneware piece that weighs over 3 pounds itself.
The plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and few scratches. There are a couple of light scratches in the middle of the plate. Gorgeous chop plate in a hard-to-find pattern!
